Eight 1.5-hour classes. Develop and prepare your portfolio in drawing and painting. Concentrate on drawing in the first 4 weeks and color work in the second half of class. Open studio time plus one-on-one advice from the instructor. Students will receive more information about materials after registration. Ages 10-16

Four 2-hour classes. Learn watercolor techniques and how to apply them to a painting. Techniques include washes, brush work, glazing and color mixing. Practice each skill and combine them in a final project. Ages 16+

Eight 1½-hour classes. Experiment with a variety of themes while learning to draw and paint. Create beautiful pieces of art while exploring pastels, pencils, paint and more! Additional $30 material fee due to instructor. Ages 10-17

Eight 1½-hour classes. Learn techniques and create new pieces using coils, slabs, pinching and sculpting techniques. Additional $30 material fee due to instructor. Ages 6-9

Four 3-hour classes. Actor and filmmaker Robert X. Golphin will guide participants in learning about storytelling, performance, lighting, cinematography, and sound. Sessions will include theoretical discussions, film clips/visual aids, and technical practice all resulting in the production of at least one collaborative 5-10 minute short film. All participants will gain hands-on experience in acting on camera, operating the camera, lights and sound, and directing actors. This course aims to expose participants to new ways of learning, and help them create and embrace their artistic abilities, and strengthen their creative, interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills. Ages 14-17

Eight 1½-hour classes. Learn fundamental hand-building techniques and get an introduction to the potter’s wheel. Explore both functional and sculptural pieces. Additional $30 material fee due to instructor. Ages 10-17

Eight 1½-hour classes. Experiment with a variety of themes while learning to draw and paint. Create beautiful pieces of art while exploring pastels, pencils, paint and more! Additional $30 material fee due to instructor. Ages 6-9

Six 2-hour classes. Explore acrylic painting techniques and color mixing through still life and landscape. Techniques include underpainting and glazing using mediums/additives. Participants can receive constructive feedback on their projects in this fun and supportive class. All skill levels welcome! Additional $30 material fee due to instructor (waived if participants provide their own materials). Ages 16+

Four 2-hour classes. Come and explore this ancient technique of painting on fabric! Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth. Batik uses layers of wax and dye to produce designs on fabric. Learn how to prepare your silk scarf, apply wax-resist, paint with dye and finish your scarf. Leave with a beautiful one-of-a-kind scarf. Additional $20 material fee. Ages 16+

Ten 3-hour classes. Learn hand-building, throwing on the potter’s wheel and glazing. All levels. Additional $60 fee for glazing and firing. Clay and tools may be purchased in class. Also open Thursdays for open studio. Ages 16+

One 2½-hour class. Milk paint has been around for thousands of years. Made from all-natural ingredients it provides a non-toxic, long-lasting finish for your painted pieces. Milk Paint by Fusion is a powder that is mixed with water. Learn how to mix, prep and paint to get a variety of looks, from Old World elegance to chippy to modern and sleek. Final project is a small wood planter box with three terracotta pots. A selection of houseplants and/or succulents will be available to fill your box! Additional $25 material fee due to instructor. Ages 16+
