County Executive Orders Flags Flown at Half-Mast in Honor of the late Beau Biden

New Castle County Executive Thomas P. Gordon has ordered that all County flags be flown at half-mast in honor of the late and Honorable Joseph R. “Beau” Biden III, former Attorney General for the State of Delaware.

County Executive Gordon expressed his deep condolences to the Biden family on the passing Saturday night of his friend, Beau Biden, the eldest son of Vice President Joe Biden, also a close friend.

"My heart goes out to Vice President Biden and all of the Biden family. We have lost a young man who was beautiful in so many ways, from his life as a family man to the life of service he chose to follow in the footsteps of his father. This is truly heartbreaking. God rest his soul.

“The people of Delaware and the United States Military will never forget his service. We’ll miss you, Beau.”
