Calling all Young Artists and Writers Between the
Ages of 4 to 11!

This winter, New Castle County libraries will produce the 2020 edition of Pages, a children’s literary and art magazine, featuring works created by children between the ages 4 – 11.

Young artists and writers can participate in PAGES by submitting a poem, joke, comic, essay, short story, or hand-drawn art or collage on an 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of paper. Children can create their submissions at home or at their local library, where art and writing supplies are provided. The submission deadline has been extended to December 31, 2019.

Submissions received by December 31 will be reviewed by library staff and considered for inclusion in PAGES; separate magazines will be produced by each library. Artists and writers selected to appear will receive a free copy of PAGES to keep. Submissions are being accepted at the children’s desk. A  submission form and a completed parental release form, available at the libraries, is also required.

The New Castle County libraries PAGES program is free and available to any child ages 4 through 11. For more information, contact your local library!

The deadline for submissions has been extended until December 31, 2018!
