    COLLAGE AND MIXED MEDIA 101 Three 1-hour, 45-minute classes. Appreciate art in your everyday life. Learn out-of-the-box collage techniques, helping you express emotion or simply make a gift for someone special. Collage is an accessible medium for all abilities. Push the boundaries of initial ideas of collage and learn new techniques. Teens/Adults

    Holiday Concert: Winter Mandolin Performance Enjoy a performance by musician Stephen Kleiman, who plays winter holiday themed music on the mandolin.

    INDIGO DYED SCARVES One 1½-hour class. Indigo dying is fun and even beginners end up with stunning results. The fabric first comes out of the dye bath bright green and turns to deep blue right before your eyes. Dye and silk scarf are provided. Bring your own cotton/linen items to dye, if desired. Wear clothes that can get dirty as the dye is permanent. Teens/Adults

    Gifts from the Kitchen: Sugar Body Scrub "Sand Art" at The Route 9 Eatery Cafe Join us at the Route 9 Eatery! Learn to make A Sugary Body Scrub, the perfect Holiday gift for friends, family or teachers. A thoughtful gift that requires no cooking. We provide the tools and knowledge needed to complete one gift and make it easy enough to repeat it in your own kitchen. Registration required. All ages. Kids 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

    Santa Green Screen Visit the library for Christmas fun. Have your picture taken ad be transported to the North Pole through Green Screen technology. All ages.

    Holiday Luncheon Lunch includes a baked potato bar with all the toppings, appetizers, punch and door prizes. Music and dancing with DJ Jack.

    Make a Holiday Craft with the Silhouette Make a holiday craft using the Makers Lab’s Silhouette Cutter . Must have completed Maker Lab Orientation to participate. Ages 16-Adults.

    HOLIDAY CENTERPIECES One 2-hour class. Learn floral design techniques to create an elongated table centerpiece complete with taper candles to adorn your holiday table or to give as a gift. Combine fresh evergreens, flowers and other materials. With repeated watering, piece will last the holiday season. Adults
