Kids to Park Day is national day in celebration of parks spearheaded by The National Park Trust.

At Rockwood, Kids to Parks Day is a fun day full of outdoor adventures designed to help kids learn about conservation and how to become the next generation of parks stewards. Bring a blanket and a picnic lunch. All ages. FREE

2019 Kids To Parks Activities:

  • Create a Wildlife Habitat
  • Make Art with Natural Materials
  • Build a Water Scope to Explore Ponds and Streams
  • Explore the Park on a Scavenger Hunt
  • Learn How to Care for Your Bike and Take a Ride in the Park (bring your bike and helmet - space in this activity is limited. Registration is strongly suggested by calling (302) 761-4340).
